About

AVRA Atelier is a Copenhagen jewellery company, producing handmade high-quality jewellery focusing on aesthetics and sustainable design. The brand is created by Alexandra Fabricius and Cecilie Eilgaard. The two female designers behind the brand, have years of experiences in the jewellery industry, with regard to sale, design and handcraftsmanship. They come from an origin marked by respectively entrepreneurship and art, and this combination of competences shines through within the universe of AVRA Atelier. Clear artistic references are visible in the idiom of the jewellery, which are abstract and quirky. The innovative approach to sustainable design is of high priority.

AVRA Atelier only cooperates with companies with an ethical profile such as Glamina Denmark. The sapphires we use, are extracted with respect for the nature and by labour from the locals of Madagascar. The stones are cut from their natural shape, form and size, and you can’t find two similar gemstones, which makes our jewellery unique. We use certified recycled silver and bio gold, which matches the EU regulations about environment and working conditions. AVRA Atelier’s first collection is called Lovelace Collection, named after Ada Lovelace, the first female computer engineer. The collection consists of 9 pieces of jewellery, which are all named after more or less known female heroines, who have made a difference throughout history. The two creators behind AVRA Atelier have a common vision to create conspicuous jewellery, as a tribute to women and they can be worn on many occasions through life.
